Mutual-Aid
Community care, shared resources, and neighbours supporting neighbours.
At Grounded, mutual aid isn’t a program — it’s a practice. It’s the belief that when the community takes care of itself, everyone feels safer, more supported, and more connected. Our Mutual Aid initiatives are here for anyone who needs them, and they’re sustained entirely by the generosity, creativity, and heart of the people who walk through our doors.
Community Pantry & Needs Cabinet
A take-what-you-need, leave-what-you-can pantry open to anyone in Bowmanville. It’s stocked with food, hygiene products, household basics, and seasonal essentials — all provided through community donations. There’s no paperwork, no screening, and no questions asked.
How to use it:
🛒 If you need something: Come during store hours and take what you need. Truly.
💛 If you want to contribute: Drop off items, order from our wishlist, or donate funds. Every bit helps a neighbour directly. Our pantry exists because the community keeps it alive — and because everyone deserves access to care without shame.
HOURS:
Mon-Tues: 10am-3pm
Wed-Fri: 10am-6pm
Sat: 10am-4pm
